Donations Policy

 

We appreciate all donations – and we are limited on storage space and therefore we have an off-site location for clothing donations.

                

CLOTHING DONATIONS: Please take clothing to the following location.  When a client needs clothes, we can send her to the Weld Clothing Bank and they will provide her with clothes.

Enterprise Zone

 

Any taxpayer who makes a cash contribution to Upstate Colorado Economic Development (UCED) in financial support of A Woman’s Place (an eligible Enterprise Zone Contribution Project) may claim a credit against their state income tax liability.

                 Cash Contributions

The state income tax credit is 25% of the value of the cash contribution, up to a maximum credit of $100,000 per taxpayer, per year.

                 Contribution Procedures:

1. Contributions must be made payable to: “Greeley/Weld Urban Enterprise Zone Fund”; 822 7 Street, Ste 550, Greeley, CO  80631.

2. A Woman’s Place should be noted on the memo line.

3. Contributors will receive state tax Form DR 0075 “Certification of Qualified Enterprise Zone Contribution”.  This form must be attached to the contributor’s Colorado Income Tax Return upon filing.

4. Once per month, EDAP will forward contributions to A Woman’s Place for project implementation.

5. Contributors are encouraged to contact their personal tax advisor regarding the possibility of also earning a federal business deduction or charitable contribution deduction.
